GTC Foundation Visit to Rachel’s Home for Orphans and Vulnerable Children
God’s Throne Care Foundation (GTC Foundation) visited Rachel’s Home for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Kurudu, Abuja, as part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian service and its mission of supporting vulnerable children and less-privileged members of society.
The visit was coordinated by Ejike Edwin, Program Manager, who led the Foundation’s team in an outreach focused on bringing care, encouragement, and meaningful support to the children. The initiative was designed to go beyond the provision of material assistance by creating an atmosphere of love, belonging, and hope for every child at the home.
During the visit, GTC Foundation provided essential relief materials and other supportive items to help meet some of the immediate needs of the children and the home. The Foundation recognizes that access to basic necessities plays an important role in promoting the health, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being of children living in vulnerable circumstances.
Beyond the distribution of relief materials, the team spent meaningful time with the children, offering emotional and moral support, encouragement, and positive interaction. The visit provided an opportunity to listen to the children, share words of encouragement, celebrate their potential, and remind them that they are valued, loved, and supported.
The Foundation also emphasized the importance of education and personal development.
