Community Sanitation & Clean-Up Outreach
God’s Throne Care Foundation (GTC Foundation) sponsored a Community Sanitation & Clean-Up Outreach as part of its commitment to improving community well-being, promoting environmental responsibility, and creating healthier and safer living environments for all.
The outreach was coordinated by Ejike Edwin, Program Manager, who led the Foundation’s efforts in organizing and supporting the sanitation initiative. The programme brought together members of the community and volunteers with a shared goal of promoting cleanliness, proper waste management, and a stronger culture of environmental responsibility.
The initiative focused on cleaning public spaces and community surroundings, removing accumulated waste, clearing areas affected by poor sanitation, and encouraging residents to take greater responsibility for maintaining a clean environment. Through practical action, the Foundation sought to demonstrate that maintaining a healthy community is a shared responsibility that requires the participation of individuals, families, community leaders, organizations, and other stakeholders.
Beyond the physical clean-up exercise, the outreach served as an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of environmental sanitation and proper waste disposal.
